Erica Cameron Elected to the Board of Directors

Ann Arbor, MI, September 1, 2021 – The Joyce Ivy Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to broadening the college aspirations of talented female high school students from the Midwest, today announced the election of Erica Cameron of Westlake, OH to its Board of Directors.

“Erica’s passion for advancing women’s leadership and helping families understand the financial assistance that highly competitive colleges can offer will be a great addition to the Joyce Ivy Foundation,” said Valerie Brader, head of the Board’s governance committee. “Her deep roots in Ohio will help us continue to reach talented young women throughout the Midwest.”

Erica Cameron is a Partner in the Cleveland office of Cerity Partners and leads the Estate and Financial Planning practice for the firm. She advises individuals, families, businesses, and nonprofits providing comprehensive wealth management services.

Prior to joining Cerity Partners, Erica was a Vice President, Portfolio Manager and Director of Operations at Spero-Smith Investment Advisers, which she joined in 2004.

Erica earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Ohio University with a concentration in Finance and Management Information Systems (MIS), and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a CFP® professional and a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

Within the Cleveland-area community, Erica is a member of Soroptimist International and serves on its membership committee. She serves on the Associate Board of the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and the Alumni Committee of the Cleveland Leadership Center. She is a graduate of the 2013 class of Bridge Builders program of the Cleveland Leadership Center. Erica lives in Westlake, Ohio with her husband, Sean, and two daughters, Claire and Grace.

I want my daughters to understand the opportunities that education can provide, and to help other young women learn of these opportunities and empower them to fulfill their potential.”
