JIF Scholard

The Joyce Ivy Foundation is a non-profit, 501c3 committed to the academic advancement and leadership development of young women from the Midwest.

We are a source of scholarships and information. Through the Joyce Ivy Foundation Summer Scholars program, we provide scholarship for talented high school students to attend summer academic programs on college campuses.

We are a forum for ideas. The Joyce Ivy Foundation College Admissions Symposium brings together hundreds of students, families, educators and admissions officers to exchange critical information about applying to — and paying for — college.

We bring together high achieving young women, their families, counselors and educators; college admissions and financial aid professionals; and volunteers.

We believe in the transformative power of educational experiences that stretch comfort zones and raise aspirations. We believe in the potential of young women.

We seek to mobilize communities, and empower students to lead self-directed paths to higher education.
